BY PURCHASING OR ACTIVATING WEBSITE SECURITY SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS IN FULL.
These Website Security Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of website security products and services offered by 10Corp Web Services LLC ("10Corp") through 10Corp, including SSL/TLS certificates, malware scanning, web application firewall (WAF), DDoS protection, and site backup services. These Terms supplement our Universal Terms of Service and any service-specific documentation.
1. Security Services Description
Website security services may include: SSL/TLS certificates for encrypted connections; automated malware scanning and removal; web application firewall to block common threats; DDoS mitigation; daily or weekly automated site backups; blacklist monitoring and removal requests; and security incident reporting and alerts.
2. SSL/TLS Certificates
A. Certificate Issuance
SSL certificates are issued by trusted Certificate Authorities (CAs) including Let's Encrypt and commercial CAs. Certificate issuance is subject to domain validation requirements. Organization Validation (OV) and Extended Validation (EV) certificates require additional verification steps and documentation.
B. Certificate Validity
SSL certificates are valid for the period specified at issuance (typically 90 days for Let's Encrypt or 1'€“2 years for commercial certificates). 10Corp will attempt to auto-renew certificates before expiration. However, auto-renewal may fail due to DNS changes or account issues. You are responsible for monitoring certificate expiration and ensuring renewal.
C. Revocation
10Corp or the issuing CA may revoke a certificate if: the domain no longer validates; there is evidence of certificate misuse; the private key is compromised; or required by applicable CA/Browser Forum standards. Certificate revocation does not entitle you to a refund.
3. Malware Scanning and Removal
Malware scanning operates on a scheduled basis (frequency depending on your plan). Automated removal is available for known malware signatures. For complex or novel malware infections, manual remediation by our security team may be required and is subject to additional service fees. 10Corp does not guarantee complete malware removal in all cases, particularly where server-level access is restricted.
4. Web Application Firewall (WAF)
The WAF filters traffic based on rule sets designed to block common web application attacks including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. You acknowledge that no WAF can guarantee complete protection against all attacks. 10Corp updates WAF rules regularly but is not liable for any intrusion or data breach that occurs despite WAF protection.
5. Site Backups
Automated backup services create copies of your website files and databases as specified by your plan (daily, weekly, or monthly). Backups are retained for a rolling period as stated in your plan. Backup restoration is provided on a best-effort basis. 10Corp strongly recommends maintaining independent off-platform backups. 10Corp is not liable for data loss if backup restoration fails.
6. Security Incident Notification
10Corp will notify you via your registered account email if our monitoring detects a security incident affecting your website. Response time and remediation assistance depend on your service plan. You agree to cooperate with 10Corp's security team during incident response.
7. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for: keeping your CMS, plugins, and themes up to date; maintaining strong account and FTP/SSH passwords; promptly addressing security alerts; and ensuring that your hosting environment meets the technical requirements for security services to function correctly.
8. Limitation of Liability
WEBSITE SECURITY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON A BEST-EFFORT BASIS. 10CORP DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY SECURITY SERVICE WILL PREVENT ALL ATTACKS, DATA BREACHES, OR MALWARE INFECTIONS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 10CORP'S LIABILITY FOR SECURITY SERVICE FAILURES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID FOR THE SECURITY SERVICE IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Fees and Renewal
Security service fees are as listed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Services renew automatically unless cancelled. Fee changes will be communicated at least thirty (30) days before the next renewal.
10. Amendments
10Corp may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of security services after notice of an update constitutes acceptance.
