ICANN Registrant Rights
10Corp Web Services LLC • Effective: Monday, January 8, 2024
As a domain name registrant, you have specific rights and responsibilities under ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) policies. 10Corp Web Services LLC ("10Corp") is committed to informing you of these rights and ensuring they are upheld in accordance with our accreditation obligations.
This page summarizes the rights afforded to domain registrants under ICANN's Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) and related policies.
1. Your Right to Accurate Information
You have the right to receive clear, accurate, and timely information about:
- The terms and conditions of your domain registration, including pricing;
- Your domain's registration and expiration dates;
- The identity of your registrar of record (10Corp Web Services LLC);
- Any changes to the terms governing your registration at least thirty (30) days before they take effect;
- The availability and terms of WHOIS privacy services.
2. Your Right to Transfer Your Domain
You have the right to transfer your domain name to another ICANN-accredited registrar, subject to the following conditions:
- The domain must not be within sixty (60) days of initial registration or a previous transfer (ICANN's 60-day lock policy);
- The domain must not be subject to a court order or dispute resolution proceeding freezing the registration;
- You must provide a valid transfer authorization code (EPP/Auth code) obtained from 10Corp;
- 10Corp may not impose unreasonable transfer fees beyond standard registry costs.
For transfer disputes, see our Dispute On Transfer Away Form page.
3. Your Right to Privacy
You have the right to request WHOIS privacy protection, which substitutes proxy contact information for your personal data in the public WHOIS database. 10Corp offers Domain Privacy services governed by our Domain Name WHOIS Privacy Agreement. WHOIS privacy does not relieve you of the obligation to maintain accurate registrant data in your 10Corp account.
4. Your Right to Accurate WHOIS Data
You have the right to have your domain's WHOIS data accurately reflect your registrant information (or privacy proxy data if Domain Privacy is active). If you believe your WHOIS data is incorrect, you may update it at any time through your 10Corp account dashboard or by contacting our support team.
5. Your Right to Notice Before Suspension or Cancellation
Except in cases of fraud, abuse, or court order, you have the right to receive reasonable notice before 10Corp suspends, cancels, or transfers your domain registration. 10Corp will not suspend or cancel registrations arbitrarily or without cause as set out in our Domain Name Registration Agreement.
6. Your Right to Dispute Resolution
You have the right to resolve domain name disputes through ICANN-approved dispute resolution mechanisms, including:
- UDRP (Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy): For resolving trademark-based domain disputes '€” see our UDRP page;
- IRTP (Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy): For resolving unauthorized transfer disputes '€” see our ICANN Registrar Transfer Dispute Resolution Policy page;
- URS (Uniform Rapid Suspension): An expedited procedure for clear-cut trademark infringement cases in new gTLDs.
7. Your Responsibilities as a Registrant
In addition to your rights, ICANN and 10Corp require you to:
- Provide and maintain accurate, current WHOIS contact information;
- Respond to ICANN verification emails promptly (within fifteen (15) days);
- Comply with applicable registry policies for the TLD you have registered;
