With CodeGuard, you can restore your entire site — or individual files — to any previous backup point with a single click.
How CodeGuard Works
Automated Daily Backups
Once configured, CodeGuard connects to your website via FTP, SFTP, or a direct database connection and takes a complete snapshot every day. Each backup captures:
- All website files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, etc.)
- Database contents (MySQL or other supported databases)
- Configuration files
Change Monitoring
CodeGuard monitors your site for changes between backups. If files are added, modified, or deleted, you receive an email notification. This makes it easy to spot unauthorized changes that could indicate a security breach.
Cloud Storage
Backups are stored redundantly in the cloud, completely separate from your hosting environment. This means your backups remain accessible even if your hosting server goes down or data is corrupted.

Setting Up CodeGuard
- Purchase a CodeGuard plan through your 10Corp account dashboard.
- Enter your FTP/SFTP credentials so CodeGuard can access your website files.
- Provide your database connection details for database backups.
- CodeGuard performs an initial full backup, then runs incremental daily backups automatically.
Restoring Your Website
If you need to restore your website:
- Log in to the CodeGuard dashboard from your 10Corp account.
- Browse the timeline of available backup snapshots.
- Select the date you want to restore to.
- Choose between a full restore or a file-level restore.
- Click Restore and CodeGuard will push the files back to your server.
Restoration typically takes just minutes, letting you recover quickly from accidental deletions, failed updates, or security incidents.
