Overview
Your billing contact information is used for invoices, payment receipts, and billing-related communications. Keeping this information accurate ensures you receive important financial notifications and that your invoices reflect the correct details. This guide shows how to update your billing contact information.
How to Update Billing Contact Information
- Log in to your 10Corp account.
- Navigate to Settings > Billing (or Billing Information).
- Click Edit next to the billing contact section.
- Update the following fields as needed:
- Billing name — The name or company name to appear on invoices.
- Billing email — The email address where invoices and billing notifications are sent.
- Billing address — The street address, city, state/province, postal code, and country.
- Phone number — A contact number for billing inquiries.
- Tax ID or VAT number (if applicable).
- Click Save Changes to apply.
Updating Your Payment Method
To update the credit card or payment method on file:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods.
- Click Add Payment Method to add a new card, or click Edit next to an existing method.
- Enter the new payment details:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVV/security code
- Billing address associated with the card
- Click Save to update.
- If you want to remove an old payment method, click Remove after adding the new one.
Important Notes
- Updating billing contact information does not change your account profile or domain WHOIS contact details. Those must be updated separately.
- Invoice corrections — If you need to correct information on a previously issued invoice, contact 10Corp support.
- Payment method changes take effect immediately for future charges but do not retroactively apply to existing unpaid invoices.
- Keep your billing email current to avoid missing critical payment notifications that could lead to service interruption.
Tax and VAT Information
If your organization is tax-exempt or needs to provide a VAT number:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing > Tax Information.
- Enter your Tax ID or VAT number.
- Upload any required documentation (e.g., tax-exempt certificate).
- Click Save. The information will be reviewed and applied to future invoices.
