10Corp sends various notifications to keep you informed about your account, services, and security. You can customize which notifications you receive and how you receive them. This guide explains the different notification categories and how to manage your preferences.

Types of Notifications

Security Notifications

  • Login alerts — Notifications when someone logs into your account from a new device or location.
  • Password changes — Confirmation when your password is changed.
  • 2FA updates — Alerts when two-factor authentication settings are modified.

These notifications are mandatory and cannot be disabled, as they are essential for account security.

Service Notifications

  • Service renewals — Reminders before your hosting, domains, or other services are due for renewal.
  • Expiration warnings — Alerts when domains, SSL certificates, or services are about to expire.
  • Service changes — Notifications about maintenance windows, outages, or upgrades.

Billing Notifications

  • Invoice generated — Notification when a new invoice is created.
  • Payment received — Confirmation of successful payments.
  • Payment failed — Alert when a payment attempt fails.
  • Upcoming charges — Advance notice of upcoming automatic charges.

Marketing and Product Updates

  • Product announcements — Information about new features and services.
  • Promotional offers — Special deals and discounts.

How to Manage Your Preferences

  1. Log in to your 10Corp account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Notification Preferences (or Communication Preferences).
  3. Review each notification category and toggle notifications on or off according to your preferences.
  4. For each category, you may be able to choose the delivery method:
    • Email
    • SMS (if available)
    • Dashboard notification
  5. Click Save Preferences to apply your changes.

Recommendations

  • Keep security notifications enabled — Never disable login alerts or password change notifications.
  • Enable renewal reminders — Prevent accidental service lapses by staying informed of upcoming renewals.
