Overview
You may need to export your account data for various reasons — record-keeping, migrating to another provider, compliance requirements, or simply backing up your information. This guide explains what data you can export from your 10Corp account and how to do it.
Data Available for Export
Depending on your account and services, you can typically export:
| Data Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Account Profile | Personal information, contact details, and account settings |
| Billing History | Invoices, payment records, and transaction logs |
| Domain List | All domains under your account with registration dates, expiry dates, and status |
| DNS Records | Zone files or DNS record configurations for your domains |
| Hosting Data | Website files, databases, and email data (via hosting control panel) |
| Activity Log | Account actions and audit trail |

- Download the zone file in standard BIND format, which can be imported into another DNS provider.
Website Files and Databases
- Access your hosting control panel (e.g., cPanel, Plesk).
- Use the File Manager to select and download your website files, or use FTP/SFTP for bulk downloads.
- For databases, use phpMyAdmin or the database management tool to export your databases in SQL format.
Email Data
- Access your email via webmail or an email client (IMAP/POP3).
- Use your email client’s export function to save messages in a standard format (e.g., MBOX, PST, or EML).
- Alternatively, use an IMAP migration tool to sync emails to another provider.
Data Retention and Privacy
- After requesting a data export, the download link is typically available for 7 days before expiring.
- If you plan to delete your account, export all your data before initiating the deletion.
- For data privacy requests or questions about what data is stored, refer to the 10Corp Privacy Policy or contact support.
