Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

Overview

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring both your password and a verification code from a second device when you log in. Even if someone discovers your password, they cannot access your account without the second factor.

10Corp supports several 2FA methods:

How to Enable 2FA

1. Log in to your 10Corp account.
2. Click on the User icon in the upper right corner and select Settings.
3. Navigate to the Security section and click Two-Step Verification.
4. Choose your preferred authentication method:
   • Google Authenticator — See Setting Up Two-Step Verification with Google Authenticator.
   • Authy — See Setting Up Two-Step Verification through Authy.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
6. After setup, generate backup codes immediately. See Creating Backup Codes for Two-Step Verification.
7. Optionally, add a backup phone number for SMS recovery. See Adding Backup Text Message for Two-Step Verification.

What Happens After Enabling 2FA

• Every time you log in, you will be prompted to enter a 6-digit verification code after your password.
• Open your authenticator app, find the code for your 10Corp account, and enter it at the login prompt.
• The code refreshes every 30 seconds, so enter it promptly.

Disabling 2FA

If you need to disable two-factor authentication:

1. Navigate to Settings > Security > Two-Step Verification.
2. Click Disable or Remove next to your active authenticator.
3. Confirm the action by entering your password or a current verification code.

Warning: Disabling 2FA significantly reduces your account security. We strongly recommend keeping it enabled at all times.
