Acceptable Use Policy Explained
What Is an Acceptable Use Policy?
An Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the rules and guidelines for using a service provider’s infrastructure and services. At 10Corp, our AUP outlines what activities are permitted and what behaviors are prohibited when using our hosting, domain registration, and related services.
Why an AUP Exists
The AUP protects all users by ensuring that the actions of one customer do not negatively impact others. It also helps 10Corp comply with legal requirements and maintain the reliability, security, and reputation of our network and services.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on 10Corp services:
Illegal Content and Activities
- Hosting or distributing content that violates any applicable law.
- Facilitating fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes.
- Hosting child exploitation material of any kind.
Network Abuse
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam).
- Launching denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
- Port scanning, network probing, or unauthorized access attempts.
- Running open proxies or relays without proper controls.
Intellectual Property Violations
- Hosting content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.
- Distributing pirated software, media, or other protected materials.
Malicious Activity
- Distributing malware, viruses, or ransomware.

Resource Abuse
- Consuming excessive server resources in a way that degrades service for other users.
- Cryptomining on shared hosting environments without authorization.
Enforcement
10Corp monitors its network for policy violations and responds to abuse reports from third parties. When a violation is identified, we may take the following actions:
- Issue a warning and request corrective action.
- Temporarily suspend the offending service or domain.
- Permanently terminate the account for serious or repeated violations.
The severity of the response depends on the nature of the violation. In cases involving illegal activity, 10Corp may report the matter to law enforcement and cooperate with investigations.
Your Responsibilities
- Review and understand the AUP before using 10Corp services.
- Ensure that all content hosted under your account complies with the policy.
- Promptly address any AUP violation notices from 10Corp.
