How to Cancel a Service

If you no longer need a service, you can cancel it through your 10Corp account dashboard. This guide covers the cancellation process and what to expect afterward.

Before You Cancel

• Back up your data. Cancelling a hosting plan or related service may result in permanent deletion of files, databases, and emails associated with that service.
• Check your billing cycle. Cancelling mid-term does not automatically generate a refund. Review the Refund Policy for eligibility details.
• Consider disabling auto-renewal instead if you want the service to remain active through the end of the current paid term without renewing.

How to Cancel a Service

1. Log in at https://my.10corp.com/.
2. Go to My Products or navigate to the specific product section (e.g., Hosting, Domains, Email).
3. Locate the service you wish to cancel.
4. Click Manage or the settings icon next to the service.
5. Select Cancel Service or Request Cancellation.
6. Choose a cancellation type:
   • Cancel at end of term — Your service remains active until the current billing period ends.
   • Cancel immediately — The service is terminated right away.
7. Provide a reason for cancellation (optional) and confirm.

What Happens After Cancellation

• Hosting plans: Your website files, databases, and associated email accounts will be removed after the cancellation takes effect. This action is irreversible.
• Domains: Cancelling a domain does not delete the registration. Your domain remains registered until it expires. You can disable auto-renewal to let it lapse, or transfer it to another registrar.
• Add-on services: Products like SSL certificates, website backup, or security services tied to a hosting plan may also be affected.

Cancellation Confirmation

You will receive an email confirming your cancellation request. Keep this email for your records. If the cancellation does not appear in your account, contact 10Corp support with the relevant details.

Reactivating a Cancelled Service

In some cases, you may be able to reactivate a recently cancelled service before it is fully terminated. Log in to your account and check whether a Reactivate option is available, or reach out to support for assistance.
