10CORP HAS A ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY FOR SPAM. THIS POLICY APPLIES TO ALL SERVICES AND USERS OF 10CORP AND 10CORP PLATFORMS.
This Anti-SPAM Policy ("Policy") governs the sending of electronic communications through any service offered by 10Corp Web Services LLC ("10Corp"). All users must comply with this Policy, applicable anti-spam laws, and our Universal Terms of Service.
1. Definition of Spam
For the purposes of this Policy, "spam" means any unsolicited bulk electronic communication, including: unsolicited commercial email (UCE) sent to recipients who have not opted in; bulk email to purchased, harvested, or scraped contact lists; messages that disguise the sender's identity or use deceptive subject lines; phishing emails; messages promoting illegal products or services; and repeated unsolicited messages after an opt-out request.
2. Prohibited Sending Practices
Users of 10Corp services must not: send email to any address that has not given explicit opt-in consent; use third-party email lists without verified opt-in documentation; use misleading "From," "Reply-To," or "Subject" fields; forge or falsify email headers; fail to include a functioning unsubscribe mechanism in every commercial email; continue sending to recipients who have unsubscribed; or use 10Corp infrastructure to relay spam on behalf of third parties.
3. Applicable Laws
All users must comply with applicable anti-spam legislation, including:
- CAN-SPAM Act (USA): Requires honest sender identification, a clear opt-out mechanism, and physical postal address in every commercial email;
- CASL (Canada): Requires express or implied consent before sending commercial electronic messages to Canadian recipients;
- GDPR (European Union): Requires freely given, specific, and informed consent for email marketing to EU residents;
- PECR (UK): Requires opt-in consent for email marketing to individuals and sole traders;
- Any other applicable national or regional anti-spam or data protection law.
4. Email List Requirements
To use 10Corp email or marketing services, your contact lists must meet these standards: all contacts must have explicitly opted in; opt-in records (date, time, IP, consent method) must be retained and available to 10Corp upon request; hard bounces must be removed immediately; complaint (abuse) rates must remain below 0.1%; and bounce rates must remain below 5%.
5. Monitoring and Enforcement
10Corp monitors outbound email traffic for indicators of spam activity, including high bounce rates, spam trap hits, and abuse complaints. If suspicious activity is detected, 10Corp may: temporarily suspend sending capabilities; request documentation of consent and list acquisition methods; permanently terminate the account; and report confirmed spam activity to relevant authorities and blacklist operators.
6. Reporting Spam
If you receive spam appearing to originate from 10Corp infrastructure, contact our abuse team immediately: cs@10corp.com. Include the full email headers and message body in your report. 10Corp investigates all abuse reports promptly.
7. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this Policy may result in: immediate suspension or termination of your account; forfeiture of prepaid service fees; civil liability for damages; and referral to law enforcement. Under the CAN-SPAM Act, violations can result in penalties of up to $51,744 per email. Under CASL, penalties can reach CAD $10 million per violation.
8. Best Practices
10Corp recommends all email senders: use double opt-in confirmation for all new subscribers; configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your sending domain; send from a consistent "From" address and domain; include a clear physical mailing address in every commercial email; segment your list and send relevant, targeted content; and monitor delivery metrics regularly.
9. Amendments
10Corp may update this Anti-SPAM Policy at any time. Continued use of 10Corp services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
